DESCRIPTION
In this class, we explore the foundation of the practice: breath, drishti, and bandhas. I believe the method of Ashtanga Yoga is a potent tool of healing and a deep transformative moving meditation when practiced regularly. So through drills and mental awareness, we will begin to tap into these energetic internal aspects to begin unlocking the power of the practice.
The drills in this class are the foundation of the practice, and are intended for you to repeat over and over until you feel you have mastered them. There is no time limit – take as long as you need! Then you can graduate to movement in the next class: Surya Namaskar A & B!
