How To Approach This Series

I'm so happy you're here and I can't wait to get started!

This plan is laid out in a calendar method. Begin on Day 1 and progress to Day 30 as I’ve programmed. Throughout the month there will be assigned rest days and two proficiency tests. Day 15 is when you’ll encounter your first test, and its purpose is simply to help you gauge where you are when you hit the halfway point in the series. Regardless of how you do in the test, continue on with the plan!

The material in this series will take time, practice and repetition, so approach each day with a positive attitude and try not to be discouraged!

The classes in this program are instruction-based, and most likely your breakthroughs will come from the homework and the time you spend on practicing the movements between the classes. That being said, you should dedicate at least an hour to the daily homework. It takes this level of dedication to truly see it reflect in your practice. If you are able to set aside more time, I encourage you to take it!

If you’re looking to learn these movements, you most likely already have an existing practice. This program is very demanding, so adding this series to your own practice may be a lot to take on. Only you can be the judge, but you may need to prioritize these classes if you are serious about learning these inversions and transitions.

This practice is meant to be fun, so remember not to take yourself too seriously. It’s going to take time and a lot of practice, so be lighthearted and share your victories with me and the Cody community so we can fly together!

Dylan’s Bio

Dylan grew up in the mountains of Southern California, where at an early age he was into fitness, movement, extreme sports, and nature. At 18, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served as an aircraft firefighter, and also wrestled for the All-Marine wrestling team. After one tour of duty in the Iraqi war, Dylan was honorably discharged and returned to California to attend university, where he studied anatomy and emergency medicine. Dylan spent eight years working as a paramedic; four years on an ambulance and another four years as a full-time firefighter/paramedic.

Dylan was first introduced to yoga in 2001 as a part of his martial arts training, but it wasn't until 2009 when he made the yoga practice a part of his daily life and started to understand the true journey of the yogi.

Since 2011, Dylan has been teaching yoga. Though a lover of movement, handstands, arm balances and creative sequencing, his focus is the integration of the fundamental nature of knowledge, reality, and existence to create a space to deepen the inner connection.

In 2015, Dylan gave up his home in California to travel and teach workshops, teacher trainings, festivals, and retreats. He has taught in over 60 countries and more than 400 workshops or events. He is passionate about spreading his love for yoga and helping others in their journey by sharing his journey.
