Quadratus Lumborum

In this video I will show you 3 exercises that focus on releasing tension in your Quadratus Lumborum. These muscles are our spinal column’s support system and are responsible for lateral movement.

Equipment needed: foam roller, yoga block.

1. We’ll begin with Myofacial release with your foam roller. Remember it doesn’t matter how long you hold a pose, it’s more important what you’re feeling.

2. Reclined spinal twists. We'll go through both left and right sides.

3. Seated overhead stretch.
