Day 11: Yoga Shred Sequence

When days come that make you want to just forget about your fitness, and do things that plateau or even roll you backwards down that hill you’re climbing, use your yoga practice to come back to a grounded place. Today, focus on the rhythm of your breath, and let your body move around that center you always have access to, if you just pay attention.

Also, as you breathe, become more aware of the places where your body —hands, feet, sitting bones, legs, whatever—meets the earth in each pose. When you ground down more firmly, not only do you create more strength and support, you remind yourself of your capacity to root in, be stubborn on your own behalf instead of against it, and deeply commit to your own best body and life, even when times get tough or your mind fluctuates.
