Dylan grew up in the mountains of Southern California, where at an early age he was into fitness, movement, extreme sports, and nature. At 18, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served as an aircraft firefighter, and also wrestled for the All-Marine wrestling team. After one tour of duty in the Iraqi war, Dylan was honorably discharged and returned to California to attend university, where he studied anatomy and emergency medicine. Dylan spent eight years working as a paramedic; four years on an ambulance and another four years as a full-time firefighter/paramedic.

Dylan was first introduced to yoga in 2001 as a part of his martial arts training, but it wasn't until 2009 when he made the yoga practice a part of his daily life and started to understand the true journey of the yogi.

Since 2011, Dylan has been teaching yoga. Though a lover of movement, handstands, arm balances and creative sequencing, his focus is the integration of the fundamental nature of knowledge, reality, and existence to create a space to deepen the inner connection.

In 2015, Dylan gave up his home in California to travel and teach workshops, teacher trainings, festivals, and retreats. He has taught in over 60 countries and more than 400 workshops or events. He is passionate about spreading his love for yoga and helping others in their journey by sharing his journey.

Ashley Galvin is a yoga instructor based in Southern California. She is known around the world for her strength and flexibility, and she constantly inspires others with her yoga practice.

Ashley spent her childhood between the beaches and mountains of California. Inspired by the healthy lifestyle of her parents, she embarked on a journey to learn more about nutrition and the benefits of active living. That path led her to her first yoga class in 2009, where she fell in love with the practice.

Determined to help empower others through yoga, she began teaching in 2011 and has since taught workshops, retreats, and classes all over the world. Her strong, dynamic flows help cultivate body awareness, empower others to embrace their unique gifts, and give students a deep understanding of their yoga practice.

The goal is to do as much work in 10 minutes as you would in a full 60- to 90-minute yoga class. Each of the videos targets a specific part of the body, focusing on and engaging the large muscle groups while also working the smaller, underutilized muscles that are often our weakest link. FlyStrong 3 is the pinnacle of the FlyStrong Series. This plan shares all of the really fun transitions and movements that I love to do in my practice.

This month-long plan builds upon the concepts and techniques from FlyStrong 1 and 2. We will journey towards advanced poses like One Arm Handstand and Planche, and we’ll navigate through progressions into advanced transitions such as pressing into a handstand, lowering from handstand into crow or eka pada koundinyasana and even teach how to press it back up. Many of these techniques can feel way out of our reach, but I break down all of the progressions into easy-to-follow steps that will make the most impossible movements possible.

The plan breaks down each movement step by step, and each video is built around a specific goal whether it’s a lowering from handstand to Eka Pada Koundinyasana, or to refine your balance or proprioception skills. All of the classes build upon the previous one. Each day also has homework associated with the classes to help you incorporate the techniques needed to perform that particular pose or transition and also increase balance, strength and proprioception.

This plan is for the strong intermediate to advanced yogi looking to bring more strength, control and mindfulness to their inversion practice in the smartest way possible.

In this month-long series I teach you how to bring handstands and arm balances directly into your Yoga practice and skillfully thread them into your Vinyasas. I’ve been on the handstand and arm balance journey for a long time and throughout my journey I’ve acquired tremendous knowledge on how to master the body while balancing on one or two hands. This series is to share that knowledge with you. You will learn how to be dynamic and fluid in your handstand, how to float, and how to fly.

FlyStrong II is a skill-building plan that will give you a technical understanding of body mechanics and will have direct application to your Yoga practice. I’ll provide you with crucial concepts and skill exercises to skyrocket your advancement and develop intelligent strength. You will build your body, improve your strength and increase flexibility while you simultaneously develop skill, balance and knowledge.

One element that sets this series apart is its programming. Besides learning the body mechanics and going through the practice with me in video, I also give you “homework", which consists of a list of exercises to practice after class. Handstands and arm balances are built in the self-practice – it’s HOW and WHAT you do between lessons that will really make a huge difference.

After 30 days you will have the skill, stability and confidence to float into a handstand in the middle of the room, do Hollowbacks, strengthen and advance your arm balance practice, and integrate all of it into your everyday Yoga practice.

BodyStrong II is an extension of BodyStrong I to dramatically strengthen and tone your whole body. While you will continue to deepen your strength, this series also emphasizes developing body awareness and uses arm balances, handstands and several more advanced poses.

When I first started trying inversions I didn’t have the strength or body awareness. This series is meant to inspire you and give you the skills to deepen your muscular strength and build heightened awareness in your movements.

Though these classes are not more physically strenuous than the first program, they are more technical. We’ll begin with my Arm Balances and Handstands tutorial where I’ll take you in depth on how to press to handstand, how to get into Crow properly, and get you prepped for the material to come. Then well use those skills as we test your strength and body awareness in your core, arms, legs and booty!

Our goal isn't to get big or bulky, instead we will develop long, lean muscles with specifically targeted exercises. BodyStrong II will utilize all of the strength you have been building to maximize your body awareness and further advance your practice!

FlyStrong is for anyone who wants to learn how to handstand or who wants to advance their handstand and arm balance practice beyond whatever you thought you were capable of! This series lays the vital groundwork for the most successful and solid handstand and arm balance practice you can imagine.

I will take you through everything from wrist health, understanding body alignment and strength, knowing how to fall, and harnessing your balance and control.
