How To Approach This Series

Welcome to CoreFit! Over the next 30 days we’ll do a lot of core work, high intensity interval training, and strengthening yoga postures! I’m so excited to get started!

Our HIIT structure is four rounds of four different exercises, and they are meant to be fatiguing! You’re supposed to be sore!

If you’re new to this type of movement, I encourage you to adjust the number of rounds and to start slow. This will give you a little more rest time so you can recover and join us in the next round. You’ll also be able to better track your progress week to week as you increase your speed and number of rounds.

If you’re more advanced and are familiar with yoga and HIIT-style workouts, you should practice 6 days a week as I have programmed. You’ll notice over the course of the month, you’ll amplify your existing strength!

I’ve found that when I’m particularly sore, the more I rest between workouts, the longer it takes for my body to recover. So it’s important to be consistent and keep moving, even if it’s with a gentle restorative. As much as I want you to push yourself and cultivate new strength, I also want you to take care of your body.

This series is all about being challenged not only physically, but also mentally. There will be points where you’ll want to stop because your muscles will be tired and you will be out of breath, but you have to be strong and tell yourself you can do it!

Log your workouts and share your progress on Cody so you can encourage others who are going through this course as well. We are in this together!

Let’s have some fun and get sweaty!
